We are hiring a Project Lead

Duties and responsibilities:                                                                                                             

The Lead Project is responsible for initiating, planning, executing, and closing capital (CAPEX) projects, and is accountable for achieving defined project objectives. This role serves as the central point of contact for assigned projects and is responsible for managing relationships with customers, vendors, and prime contractors, while providing clear direction to all involved parties.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Defining project objectives, scope, and roles and responsibilities;
• Identifying resource requirements and managing the availability and allocation of internal and third-party resources;
• Developing and managing the project budget, including tracking costs to ensure delivery within budget;
• Preparing detailed project plans outlining key milestones, workstreams, and activities;
• Overseeing the execution of the project according to the approved plan;
• Monitoring project progress and providing regular status reports to the project team, customers, and key stakeholders;
• Managing changes to project scope, schedule, and budget as necessary;
• Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues;
• Ensuring effective communication and relationship management with customers and stakeholders to ensure project satisfaction;
• Overseeing all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management during the construction phase;
• Performing additional coordination tasks including stakeholder and risk management, maintaining project documentation, and supporting procurement-related activities as required;
• Serving as a backup for the Project Services Lead, taking on project leadership and project services responsibilities as needed.                                                                                                                                                                                            

Requirements:         

• Project management, engineering, and civil engineering, with extensive experience in coordinating and overseeing construction and infrastructure projects.                                         
• Undergraduate or equivalent or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from academic college or universities.                                                                                                                            
• Experience in project management and delivery of construction projects.
• Proven work experience as a Project Lead or similar role.
• At least 3 years relevant experience                                                                                      
• Fluency in English is an advantage
• Advanced knowledge of project and engineering management processes, means and methods
• Ability to work in achieving tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment
• Willingness to learn new things and contribute actively and positively to the team with a proactive attitude. 

Contract term: 1 year
